Nevada County Swings Partners

Nevada County Swings strives to build a lindy hop and swing dancing community that complements existing swing dancing communities in nearby Roseville, Reno and Sacramento.

Our goal is to establish a destination Nevada County-themed party that celebrates the unique culture, amenities, merchants and artists of downtown Nevada City and Grass Valley, attracting dancers regionally.

We are proud to feature the following partners who share and support our mission:

Nevada City Winery

We are proud to feature Nevada City Winery as our wine supplier for our monthly social dance. Nevada City Winery is the oldest operating winery in Nevada County. Enjoy a selection of Nevada City wines available for purchase (21 and over ID required)

Nevada City Winery, located at 312 Spring Street, is also generously offering free wine tasting coupons to the first 10 attendees of each of our monthly dances

BrewBilt BrewHaus

We are proud to feature locally brewed beers from BrewBilt Brewing which use Sacramento Valley-grown barley, wheat, and oats - that are fresh and “damn tasty”.

BrewBilt’s craft beers are available onsite and also from its nearby taproom and restaurant, BrewBilt Brewhaus, conveniently located at 300 Spring Street. During Spring Street Swing Out, an online menu will be available for take out - food can be brought into the Oddfellows Hall.

Eat-in diners can enjoy a 15% discount for dinner on the day of Spring Street Swing Out - just mention Nevada County Swings to your foodserver.

Midtown Stomp is Sacramento’s premier swing dancing and Lindy Hop venue, and one of the largest swing dances on the West Coast. Each Friday night hundreds of people of all ages and walks of life join in for an evening of music and dancing that you have to see to believe.

Sactown Swings is the longest running swing night in Northern California. Beginning and intermediate lessons and dancing is offered every Wednesday night at the Elks Lodge #6 on Riverside Boulevard in Sacramento

Reno Swings! is the epicenter of swing and lindy hop in the greater Reno Area. Reno Swings! offers a weekly lesson and social dance at the American Legion Hall every Wednesday evening, starting at 7 pm. Dancers of all ages and levels are welcome.
