Join us for a night of East Coast Swing and Lindy Hop, featuring live music from the Hank Biggs Band (more info below), Nevada City Winery wine and BrewBilt BrewHaus beer. The price of admission is $15 ($10 students) includes an hour of dance lessons from 6-7.

Hank plays genuine, original rockabilly and swing tunes in a style that harkens back to the era of Carl Perkins, Joe Turner and Bill Halley and His Comets. The Hank Biggs Band features guitar, upright bass, drums, piano and sax. Hank has played and sang in many genres, including bluegrass, western-swing and R&B, to name just a few. If you like a little rock n roll in your swing, then you’ll love the Hank Biggs Band.
September 16 Spring Street Swing Out

Beginning Lindy Hop
This 4-week Beginning Lindy Hop class is intended for those with no prior dance experience, or for dancers who want to become reacquainted with lindy hop basic footwork to swingouts.
When: Monday 6:30-8:00 pm (9/8, 9/15, 9/22, 9/29)
Where: Center Stage Dance Studio 121 Joerschke Drive, Grass Valley
Format: 1 hour of lessons, followed by 30 minutes of practice
Cost: $60 paid in advance. Pls RSVP to dance@nevadacountyswings.org to register.
